April 2021 Book of The Month – The Intelligent Investor

For April’s book of the month, we are changing lanes to one of the great classics, The Intelligent Investor by investing legend Benjamin Graham.

This classic is an in-depth view on value investing and goes into the details of Benjamin Graham’s philosophy on buying equities at a discount. The book takes a commonsense approach to invest in the markets, with the simple approach of not overpaying.

Though Graham’s words are closing in on 50 years of age, the latest edition of The Intelligent Investor is updated with commentary by Jason Zweig. He provides modern insights and examples while still using Graham’s same line of thinking.

The Intelligent Investor has stood the test of time, and its lessons are ever valuable in pricey markets. Here at the Nickel & Dime Decade, we highly recommend this classic.
